Bizrael designs, builds, and runs startup tours and entrepreneurial workshops specifically for students, young professionals, and academia. Since 2012, Bizrael has taken thousands of students from more than 20 countries on our trips and helped inspire a new kind of Israel engagement, entrepeneurial learning, and Jewish education.

Our secret sauce. The Bizrael team comes from within Israel’s startup ecosystem, travel industry, and Jewish programming.
Jason Weiss
Jason focuses on partnerships, fundraising, and creating and leading trips. Jason is also the COO & Dealflow Manager at Axis Innovation, a startup advisory firm in Tel Aviv, and formerly at the Israel Ministry of Economics. He was an Israel Government Fellow from 2009-2010 and a Fellow at the 2014 Tikvah Advanced Institute on the Israeli Economy. He made Aliyah in 2012 and lives in Petah Tikvah, Israel.
Chanan Kaufman
Chanan is the founder of Bizrael and leads strategic development and US partnerships. He has over 25 years of experience as a trailblazing innovator in Israel programs, Jewish education, leadership development, and entrepreneurship. Chanan is also as the Executive Director of the Jerusalem Fellowships and CEO of GoInspire Travel, and lives in New York.
Avi Jacobs
Avi is assistant program director, working directly with group leaders as well as Bizrael's startup and company network. Avi has a background in business development and sales for a major Israeli telecom company, as well as vast experience working with groups from abroad.
